Of course a camping trip can be an extremely enjoyable and special experience provided you are well prepared and are armed with all the camping gear necessities to see you through till you return home. As night falls and darkness covers the surroundings, a good bright fire is the most important thing for warmth and guidance.

Ensure that you are aware of insect bites and stings, plants and weeds that may cause allergic reactions, exposure to various climactic conditions. Cutting up apples, separating orange slices, or taking along dried fruits is an excellent, nutritious way to easily have food on hand at all times. Climbing works the arms, shoulders, trunk and legs of the body.

Strawberries and bananas are also not good portable foods. Even from an airplane, views are different that from standing on top of a mountain that you just climbed. Your first aid kit should contain essentials to tide you over in any case of any injury or illness, whether it is a cuts and bruises or stomach-aches and headaches.

Bring along a camera, binoculars and a magnifying glass on your camping and hiking trips as their will be lots to see. The umbrella style tents offer roomy head room for many people and is well-ventilated. Be aware that the glass globe of all gas and propane lanterns get extremely hot and can give you a serious burn.

Campfire cooking will bring everyone together for an enjoyable evening of storytelling and great food. Get out there and unwind.
