camping costa brava

For those interested in an exciting outdoor adventure in the cooler weather, winter camping may be the choice for you. Before you set off into the woods, make sure that you have a pack prepared with food like energy bars or trail mix to keep you moving, plenty of water, dry, protected matches, a space blanket to keep you warm and to signal for help during the day, an LED flashlight or LED lantern for use at night, a compass, and the best survival knife that you can find or afford.

Some devices offer the same benefits of heat, wide range of illumination and reliability but do not include common risks a campfire could cause. There are more than a few good reasons to enjoy a good camping trip. Be sure to stretch before you go hiking and take break often.

Your handy dandy axe is going to be critical and you need to master the technique before even thinking of climbing. Choose a location which is likely to be more populated as you could always do with a little company on your first trip in case you need any assistance. If you are going on a serious outdoor adventure, you should do some serious planning.

Do a little research online, read reviews and shop around. Now go and spend some time hiking in nature.
